鴨川のお勧め川床（納涼床）はどこでしょうか。

私はアメリカ在住の者ですが、９月に京都に遊びに行くことになりました。そこで、前からテレビ等で観てとても気になっていた川床を体験してみたいと思います。
時間的に上流の貴船には行けそうもないので、鴨川に行こうと思うのですが、景色が一番よく眺められるお店はどこでしょうか。

私がネットで探した中では、鮒鶴さんと鶉亭が気になっております。
鮒鶴さんは、広々とした川床で全面禁煙ということで、煙が苦手な私としては候補の一つです。お料理もフレンチで美味しそうです。
ただ、川床がとても広く写真では見えるので、川の傍のお席でないと川床感をあまり味わえないかな、とも思います。

一方、鶉亭さんは２席限定というスモールな川床で、広さとていは川床感はないかも？知れませんが、でも、川が近くに感じられそうです。ただ、喫煙OKなので、お隣の方が喫煙されたらちょっとキツイかな、と思います。

基本的にお座敷タイプのところは苦手なので、靴のまま行ける川床がいいです。（もしかしたら本来はお座敷が川床的なのかも知れませんが）

京都は高校の修学旅行以来で、日本も本当に久しぶりです。
