YOWANOTSUKI PROJECT Finale Event "OTSU-KIMI Sweets Marche" to be held ！.

The Otsu City Council for the Promotion of Utilization of the Taiga Drama "To You, Hikaru Kimi" is implementing the "Yoha no Tsuki Project" under the theme of [Autumn to Love Lake Biwa and the Moon] to enjoy the autumn nights in Otsu.

Two months have passed since the start of this project on September 14. As a closing event, "OTSU-KIMI Sweets Marche - Otsukimi Japanese Sweets Marche" will be held on November 16. Please enjoy a special moon viewing experience by the shores of Lake Biwa as autumn deepens and the full moon appears.


OTSU-KIMI Sweets Marche ~Otsukimi Japanese Sweets Marche~

Japanese sweets shops in Otsu City ・ Western sweets shops gather to hold a marche where you can enjoy Japanese sweets. There will also be a booth to experience Nodate (outdoor tea ceremony) and a workshop to cut out lanterns. At night, there will be an otsukimi lantern with about 200 floating lanterns. Visitors can enjoy moon viewing in a fantastic space.

14 Japanese confectionery stores ・ in Otsu City gather to enjoy Japanese sweets Japanese sweets shops in Otsu

A wide variety of Japanese sweets such as freshly baked Mitarashi dumplings, popcorn, macaroons, and waffles.

◆Nodate （ Nodate ） Experience

A small tea ceremony where you can enjoy delicious green tea outdoors without being bound by etiquette.


●Time ： 15 ： 00 ～ 18 ： 00 （ Each tea ceremony takes about 15 minutes ）

●Fare ： 1,000 yen per person （ Includes green tea and sweets

◆Otsukimi Lantern

Participants release lanterns simultaneously into the night sky. Because of the LED lanterns

even children can participate safely. About 200 lanterns float

◆Light cutting workshop

A workshop to make

lights using paper cutouts originally designed by paper cutout artist ・ Teppei Hayakawa. You can take home the lights you made.

◆Yohanotsuki Bamboo decorating the lakeside ・ Yoshiakari YOWANOTSUKI Illumination ～

Lighted objects made of [bamboo] and [reeds] are displayed at 5 view spots of Lake Biwa including Otsu Port, the venue of Japanese Sweets Marche
